Long time lurker on the site and I've noticed this forum has been getting a lot posts by Alt-Right users. They all use same talking points you see on reddit, ,/pol/, and just about every forum dominated by these insecure and socially retarded white males. I can't be the only one who notices this. I get that they think they can effect change by spouting their nonsense on every platform possible, but what I don't get is all the effort these people put into a hip-hop/sports forum. Seems like a waste of time to me, but maybe someone can explain. Just my view on things and I hope they'll be gone after the election.

i actually like it. they are good for a laugh.

One thing the alt-right crowd has correct is that we should be allowed to not be so "PC" and say whatever.

Only thing is they get butthurt when you say something back, especially with facts and figures and logic. Just like the alt-left crowd they hate so much...

The sub-forum has been in a bad way for awhile. The alt-right/st0rmfr0nt posters aren't helping and will only drive away any thinking person whether they're longterm posters or new to the forum.

It gets old to read the same alt-right arguments over and over again and dogwhistles. I also think the race baiting is out of hand considering this is a sports and hiphop forum. If they want to have their alt-right/racist circle jerk they have plenty of other forums for it. On the flip side there aren't a lot of alternatives to higher learning.

So it's an open forum, they can come in and speak their mind so long as it doesn't go against any standing rules. There have always been right wing nuts on this site, it balances out what would otherwise be a circle jerk of political opinion. It can sometimes get crazy, especially during election season.

I like o think that in the end reason wins out, but can you really reason with an ideologue?

If you see something that's NOT supposed to be here, report it.

And by "NOT supposed to be here" I don't mean something that is diametrically opposed to your view, I means something that violates forum rules and such.

the funniest hijackers are the conservative cacs pretending to be black online, as if it gives them license/protection to spew their bigoted shyt.
The NYT comments section has a few of them: Some dude nicknamed "DC Barrister" who never fails to mention that he's a "black lawyer" in every post before blasting Obama, liberals, BLM and Hillary (using the same lines you see on Breitbart, freerepublic and other right-wing blogs). Others do the same shyt under stereotypically "black" names like "Lakisha" or "DeShawn"

I think so too. It feels like watching Nazi Germany continuing to fight past the point of any chance of winning. Yet they carry on. It must really sting to realize your ideology is on the way out.
