Higher Learning's Direction in 2015

All I know is that in 2015, I am going to be even more hands off and I am not intervening for people. 99% of the arguments I had with HL regulars was for the sake of people who felt they were jerks and that HL catered to them. Yet, those same people would rater reside in the conspiracy thread or fail to make sense when I took up for them (to the point of taking contrarian positions just do it). So next time @Broke Wave @88m3 @Sensitive Blake Griffin @Broletariat @Serious or @Mephistopheles is bombing on you, you are just going to have to pull yourselves up by your boot straps and handle it...nothing good came out of that for mods except unnecessary beef over minute details. It did nothing to improve the quality and diversity of HL.

Other than that, HL should bring back the podcast.

Honestly I can't believe I used to go back and forth with you about "the direction of HL" as much as I did. At the end of the day, it's a message subforum and no one should really give that much of a fukk.

If you recall, I began moderating by ignoring the complaints about Slaimon. But once we responded to that and I created that conspiracy thread, I opened up a can of worms. By the end of the year HL had more reported posts tan any other forum, let alone sub-forum. At this point, all the mods and admins are like fukk it...let cats do what they want and just step in when it is a no-brainer.

Make a new rule. Call it the @BarNone rule. If you post a thread you at least have to comment on it

I just make the threads don't be mad at me.
