the clothing store is perplexing to me because i still feel like most people rather feel and try clothing/shoes and even "easy" returns still require repacking a box, filling out a slip or authorizing the return online, waiting for your funds, dropping off the package/waiting for it to get picked up, etc. but everything else, amazon got me :win:

nothing more annoying than going to a store for something to find out they're sold out or don't carry the item you're looking for. just last week i went on a fukking goose chase looking for this plant based protein, even whole foods didn't have it...like fukk that, shyt was on amazon for the low with one-day shipping for prime members, fukk brick and mortar for anything other than grocery. i order shyt from amazon 3-4 times a week - like even little shyt like lotion or vitamins, it's just so convenient (minus the waste/carbon footprint i'm contributing to  )

The major malls will last though IMO. the Galleria, North Park, King of Prussia, Lennox etc. will be fine. I do shop on Amazon but i still go to the mall for cloths, I gotta see what I’m getting.
This I don't think people understand buying clothes online is pointless, and if I got a party to go to Friday and it's only Wednesday how tf imma get my shyt in time?

Dollar stores killing these other spots

Only reason Walgreens and smaller retail spots stay open is because of their pharmacies...hell people need medication

Other than that why pay 5 dollars for drano at Walgreens and get it for a 1.25 at the dollar store..
You don't understand segmentation. The dollar store is in the hood out here, drug stores are in the hood, burbs, and well off areas. Ain't no middle/upper middle class folks going to the dollar store for toothpaste when they can go grab a tube at Walgreens right around the corners.

Go google it, malls are closing all over the place, dealing with vacancies, etc. malls are actually in the biggest trouble as no one wants to make the trip out to them

That may be true to certain extent but not everyone is sold on online shopping. Stores will be needed for folks like me and many others. I’m from the hood bro and I ain’t never herd a dude say he was go get something from Amazon, at least where I live, hell I gotta sometimes remind dudes they can get shyt on there. Also it’s about convience, I want try my shyt on (even my shoes) and I may not want to wait a few days to get it.

I just think the major malls will last, the Galleria just added wing with 40+ store and they just build a new luxury shopping district. Same with Lexxox..you can’t completely fade out retail, especially Luxury retail.

Women especially love to shop. So malls will never die. But to me retail is what makes a mall. but they would rather have a dmv and dave and busters and barber shop. and don't get me wrong. I love it. But its still good to have clothing stores as well
