I wanna say yes. I think I remember when dude died, Duncan grabbed his body and waited around for his resurrection. I think he knew because of the Quickening.
There was another ep where Duncan met a not-yet reborn immortal, and killed her cause the p*ssy was good and he wanted them to stay young together forever. She was terrified and wasn't having it, tho.

highlander, so much damn potetntial... but they fukked it up with the tv show and them movies. even with it getting all convoluted, its one of my favorite 'story ideas.

yeah he did. apparently pre immortals give of a quick little headbuzz sound thing. they just never did it for richie to give it away the surprise but if you watch the first season duncan always knew when richie was around. richie even says something about never being able to sneak up on him. Duncan pretty much knew after he found out richie was an orphan though.
