There was no argument to be had as my initial post was directed toward the video. Further, the portion you selected were my OWN feelings toward grad celebrations, not projecting them onto others.. There’s no straw man to be had unless I was using my own views to justify why my views were incorrect.
A straw man fallacy would play out as such.
“hey MJ Simpson clearly hates black ppl since he doesn’t support this black girl getting her degree.” Where instead of addressing the topic, I created a diversionary weaker argument that I could defend...Like snipping half of a comment and then trying to use your own views against you instead of creating a logical response to the information you put forth(that’s exactly what you just did)
