I have friends with PhDs researching these drugs and working at these firms.

Do you want them to lose their jobs to other countries who dont even invest in doing the research but sell our own drugs back to us?
If they got PhDs I'm sure they will land on their feet. Do you want more sick people dying cause they can't afford their prescriptions?

Poll shows concern over rising prescription drug costs

“The poll shows very clearly that Connecticut residents want action, regardless of their political affiliation,” said Frances Padilla, president of the foundation. “They should not have to choose between taking their medications as prescribed and putting food on the table.”

But your attitude is similar to the Democratic party. Dismissed as coincidence? :jbhmm:
What if you are in direct competition to Trump and lost? Are you an idiot then? :jbhmm:

I'm not from the midwest man, but I don't have contempt for them either.

Yeah I know, Democrats can't win anywhere but still want to stick to the script. :mjlol:
Seems to be more evidence that these voters you're attempting to appeal to aren't liberal and a seperate point is they don't seem to vote in their own best interest.

Trump gave them no policy for them to rally behind and they either chose to roll the dice and see how his presidency would affect them, thought other voters would carry the water for them with Hillary so they could run their moral high road (almost happened 30kish votes) , or they merely do not actually care about policy and this is what happens.

Either way, the next election will come down to swing state as they always do so running the narrative of last election as though it will be the narrative for the upcoming election is foolish and short sighted.

Did you want her to lie to the voters more?

Maybe appeal to their racism?

Did you want her to embrace Trump's outright white supremacy?
Oh I get it, these states are filled with racists. :skip:
Funny how she's white and Obama was able to carry these states against white opponents. :sas2:
Outdated policy and talking points. Throw the playbook in the garbage. It doesn't work. :why:

Trump said he was anti trade deal and would renegotiate existing ones. He made dubious claims about bringing jobs back. So your 'no policy' assertion is inaccurate.
Yeah, Hillary found out about your last point the hard way. :francis:

Democrats keep thinking they’ll have easy wins over the republicans, so they put up the most dynastic and controllable candidate as opposed to who the people want (y’know the “democracy” of the “democratic”). The voters don’t like being used to prop up who the DNC wants, so they spitefully don’t vote for their candidate.

Baby boomers fukked over this whole political generation, and still think they deserve to be in charge.
