Honestly who gives a fukk, it should be a complete non story. Granted Trump is an idiot for making it worse when he should just be ignoring it.
The fact is ABC, CNN and MSNBC will gladly run with any story or speculation regarding Trump but they seem to have absolutely no interest in covering or investigating any of the numerous Hillary scandals that come to surface.
Trump makes an off color remark about "second ammendment people" doing something about Hillary and it's the top story for an entire week. But when news surfaces that Hillary may have suggested a drone attack... somehow its not on any of the major news channels.
I mean, is it really much different than what Assange is doing? He's trying to pressure and hold political figures and countries by blackmail. Nobody is going to take that lightly.
When you play dirty, you have to expect your opponents to do the same and like it or not, The U.S., be it led by Obama, Trump or Hillary, has a warchest Assange can't compete with. Which is why he's trying to spin things against people he knows will go straight at him.
