A GREAT DEAL MORE natives owned black slaves. It was called slavery, not servitude. Cherokees had slave CODES, seminoles did not. Blacks usurped control of the seminole army and damn near freed us. They always scream "whites were slaves too! Get over it!" No they were mostly indentured servants and/or low wage workers.The myth of Irish slavery was basically semantics and is more a reference to the position they played in society as related to other cacs. They were never forced to work for generations and owned by another human. Chattel hereditary slavery is a beast that is largely attributed to the Atlantic slave trade. No other slave trade in history involved taking a people from another continent thousands of miles away where a human owned another human and their entire bloodline FOREVER.
