It wasn't his fault. The Clintons have been playing this hardball game since at least 2012 squeezing polticians and donors to set up Hillary's 2016 run. It didn't get reported alot but a lot of politicians were pissed off in 2014 because HIllary locked up so much campaign money that it hurt the Congressional races. Plus, Bill has been throwing his weight around making sure people either backed Hillary THIS time or face his wrath.
