The irony of Mrs "Mass Incarceration" teaming up with a former drug trafficker to help her get the "Super Predator" vote just shows how absurd American politics has gotten.

That's exactly how I feel. 5 or 10 years ago I might've been outraged about this. Now I'm just like This is more of an amusing and absurd footnote resulting from the intersection of racial oppression, capitalism, and identity politics than anything else to me.

Edit: Honestly what might win her some young black votes would be instead of some bullshyt contest to meet Pusha T, an honest, adult open conversation with Push about drug policy and her history with the crime bill and its flaws, and his experience selling drugs in his youth, ultimately resulting in the mutually agreed conclusion that the prison-industrial complex and the drug war must end.

I don't see why anyone has a big problem with this. I might be biased because I'm from the VA Beach area and I'm a Clipse fan, but I'm glad to see Push making those types of connections in the world.

She's using an entertainer for outreach to a certain demographic. Conservative politicians recruit country singers and washed up bums like Ted Nugent to appeal to rednecks. Black people always got add layers of sociological over-analysis to shyt like this because of history and conditions..

This,you know Trumpset supporters like Cacplanet would have their banjo with them ready to play music with Ted if Donald Trump did something similar. Right now though talking shyt about minorities is enough for the movement.

I acknowledge the shortcomings. The server thing was crazy. The Debbie Wasserman thing was very Chris Christie. Bengazee (sp?) is one I can't speak on. Staying with a man that likes to be social? Distasteful, but not my business. A lot of us have fathers who dipped. We just don't know about it or acknowledge it. David had Bathsheba and still he was favored.

None of us are perfect. No situation is perfect. In life we choose the option that has fewer imperfections.

If you give $9.7 billion in funding for prisons you will surely use it. And the $6.1 billion funding for prevention programs -- can I have an example of some programs and the results? Over turning the availability of higher education? Asinine.
