Caught like the last third and she delivered that better than her convention acceptance speech. Her cadence was surprisingly good--normally I can't stand hearing her speak. Then towards the very end she started going into that screechy rah rah shyt but it was very brief. Everything else was lovely, and it's hard to refute when she used Orange Julius' own words.

how a bunch of autistic disenfranchised basement dwellers started a political movement that's having a great impact on real world politics is beyond me

I can't lie Hillary was spitting truth :ohlawd:, whoever is writing her speeches is doing a good job.

Hey remember when I said Hillary is, and will continue to be, giving cover to traditional establishment Republican elite hacks, allowing them to take back control of the party after this election by distancing themselves from Trump, because a populist insurrection that removes the barriers to actual democratic rule is bad for both party establishments? And I was negged and told these were just my naive fever dreams? How insane I was to suggest that in the aftermath of a hypothetical Trump victory, establishment Republicans would be more at home with this Democratic party, controlled by their mainstream establishment like Hillary, than the Republican Party of Trump?

He’s taking hate groups mainstream and helping a radical fringe take over one of America’s two major political parties.
...

This is a moment of reckoning for every Republican dismayed that the Party of Lincoln has become the Party of Trump. It’s a moment of reckoning for all of us who love our country and believe that America is better than this.

Twenty years ago, when Bob Dole accepted the Republican nomination, he pointed to the exits and told any racists in the Party to get out.

The week after 9/11, George W. Bush went to a mosque and declared for everyone to hear that Muslims "love America just as much as I do."

In 2008, John McCain told his own supporters they were wrong about the man he was trying to defeat. Senator McCain made sure they knew – Barack Obama is an American citizen and "a decent person."

We need that kind of leadership again.

Every day, more Americans are standing up and saying "enough is enough" – including a lot of Republicans. I’m honored to have their support.
