I would never support Byrd or vote for him. But he was involved in the Klan from somewhere around 1943-1946, and publicly rejected them in 1952. Trying to call out someone simply for being in a PICTURE with someone who had publicly rejected the Klan FIFTY years earlier is kinda stupid.

People change...and even whether someone really did change or not, being photographed with someone in the same profession as you is a pretty worthless proof of anything.
