I liked it, isn’t great at all but definitely not as bad as people saying it is. The only criticism that I can fully agree with is that the story is paper thin
Yup. Me and my barber was just talking bout this, regarding white chicks specifically.
I remember that being like a cult classic amongst us, when it dropped but now it’s grown into a more widely accepted and memed movie due to social media.

Movie was alright until like halfway through. It really didnt make much sense and the ending was some of the dumbest shyt ive saw. Marlon did his thing though

Whole movie I kept waiting for that big moment its like they were scared to go all the way, ironically its one of the main themes of the movie itself.
I thought the trailers were awful, but I really liked it.

Again. Movie wasn’t terrible, just need some further explanation. I think maybe it should have been a bit longer to tie things up. A 7 day camp on top of Cam’s backstory wasn’t paced good enough IMO.

What does this have to do with CTE/ his head injury? It was a sacrifice storyline, yeah I got that. He walked away. Got that. They were injecting him with Marlon’s DNA??? They were giving him a blood transfusion with Marlon’s blood….

with CTE i think they were showing that even with this injury and health risk im still going for the top spot. The blood thing idk if each “Him” is like Christ but they are taking the blood lf those before them, maybe implying the linage or something
The amount of questions you have, and the overall all-over-the-place this movie has is exactly why people are calling it terrible.
Not to mention all the visual shots they shoved into the movie that just genuinely has nothing to do with the movie at all and don't advance the story whatsoever.

I think that has changed this past decade though. shyt even the latest Final Destination was in the 90’s on RT and all the previous ones are in the 60’s or below.
These days horror movies get more of a fair chance when it comes to reviews so the fact this one reviewed so bad wasn’t a good sign.

I feel like the opening scene was perfect. Then rest of it is full of highs and lows. I think one of the Wayans said they wish they could have had more time to work on that one.Scary movie 2 is a personal classic for me

after sleeping on it the reason why i didnt like the movie is because it had so much potential but it tried to do too much without doing anything. this could have been great if that just stuck with one direction and explained things better.
