It’s a mess, but I didn’t hate it. Could tell Marlon and Tyriq had fun making the most of what they had here. Julia Fox’s no eyebrow havin’ ass looked like the next American Horror Story antagonist. Sadly, the script let them all down. It’s mostly style over substance.

That line Marlon Wayne’s said “if your starving in a prison and they offer you food or freedom do you really have a choice” could have been explored in so many interesting ways because you are really discussing poverty and how that shaped black cultures affinity with sports

Thats the issue it wasnt focused w a 1:35 run time. They touched on a lot of themes almost rapid fire when each theme could have been its own movie lol
