I feel you but the answer is "MACHINE". Eve had Interscope behind her as well as the Ruff Ryders team who took her in.

Latifah been around & from my understanding always been more of an entertainer than an emcee. She always had writers & shyt (maybe Eve too, idk). But with her i think it's just her & Shakim's business that did it with Flavor Unit management & all that shyt.
rah at one point had j records behind her. that's a clive davis logo. he should have made that a platinum disc

Eeh, still not Interscope etc tho, who already had a long history of investment in rap with 2pac, Death Row etc. Plus, with Eve Interscope didnt know what to do with her either. Thats why she was offered to Ruff Ryders who were blazing at the time & so it worked. Other than that Eve wouldve gotten shelved & never be out.

So Rah didnt have the same vehicles.

Im not sure about Eve, but doesnt she have ghostwriters and all? If so shes the same as Lil Kim/Foxy Brown/Nicki Minaj etc. They're just to sell to the female demographic.

Lil Kim = female Biggie
Foxy Brown = female AZ/Jay-Z
Eve (on Ruff Ryders) = female DMX

They took their counterparts whole look, gimmick & rap style. Only difference were they were female PERFORMERS (not emcees) to sell to the female demographic.
