Most of the non-sampled shyt that was considered dope back then (ala Scott Storch) today sounds cheesy and :trash:

thread inspired by this here. shyt is :whew: to this day. timbo da gawd

That's how I know this trap shyt is gonna sound extra garbage 10-20 years from now.

and Lloyd Banks was extra basura

Go Dj sounds like it was made on a Nokia 3210 :scust: Fix ya ears bruh

always thought that Go DJ track was basura. But like everything Wayne at that time, it got hyped to high heaven for no good reason

none of that south shyt holds up even from 2005, once the new sounds come out and sound quality improves it's hard to go back to that old shyt

sampling shyt last forever because of the feeling of the chop and the break, which is why hip hop is anyway

actually it's moreso b/c of the live instruments. A guitar or piano or strings from 1970 still sounds the same today.

And I disagree abotu the Southern stuff. Even Lil Jon stuff still slaps today.
