No. I like the album though as a solid 3.5 mic effort and significant album for it's time.

Why does it matter Chris Webber produced? C-Webb has some skill, Blunt Ashes is a good song. He did Surviving The Times too, that shyt is great.

The first half of HHID is pretty much classic. Really cohesive and true to the theme of the album. 2nd half of the album, not so much unfortunately. Seems like I only listened to still dreamin (classic) on the back half of the album. If there was others I don't remember them.

I'm thinking the label was rushing it, so he just threw on a bunch of songs that he recorded at the time to fill out he rest of the album and it lost its focus.

I don't recall Nas talking about this album much in interviews since it dropped.

Maybe @lifeisgood can speak on this album.

I could actually understand why someone would call it a 5 mic album though. I think there's a couple of songs that prevent this though, but things can change, with time you never know, I'll have to relisten to it and assess. It's an interesting album to reassess and relisten to though.

Those songs didn't really fit the theme though. I love still dreaming, but all those other ones didn't do it for me. Just felt like random tracks. The first half of the album was ridiculous, the east coast/west coast rmx of where are they now, the people he brought out
