Substantial (for example) is a very positive, humble dude who also has that translating to his music, I'd let my children hear his music when old enough to apprecriate it. Not hiphop with a very strong political side or deep philosophical shyt, just positive music about every day life and being the best person you can be (and not on a material level either)

my mother bougth my lil sis a mp3 player for christmas and im on spotify now typing in random songs and adding it to a playlist to have ready when i sync it for her on christmas(obviously she does not know she is getting that as a gift)
i know at this age kids of all races like the cheesy white pop music but she is 10 now and seems to be on the late bus....needs to be more urban in her collection....

I know there are plenty of hiphop songs that can be positive or at least cool to play around kids. Not even just kids. But at work or in a business,etc.
