So much about this is wrong. This album came out in 96. Pun was a nobody back then. Joe wasn't Pun's hype man.
The song doesn't have the message that women are trying to infect you with AIDS. Sadat doesn't say shyt about that. Joe ends his verse with "the moral of the story is the monsters all around, so boriquas watch to see that you can catch it going downtown". And the line at the end about hey I don't really have AIDS :whoa:
Was hilarious.
fukk Hot Karl.
And that beat was crazy :ahh:

Joe was lazy as fukk on that song, ill give him that. for being in the first phase of his career, he wrote a shytty verse. the song was saved by Diamond's beat

No Rubber No Backstage Pass/Blood/America (the Wu song)/Street Life>>>>>>>>>

comp was fire
You bugging breh. Joe's verse was nice. I wouldn't be surprised if Pun wrote it since he's on the record doing an ad lib.
You right about those other songs breh. Plus the OK song :wow:

Hot Karl is a worthless footnote in hip hop but that song was wack as fukk. I always skipped it and thought with that lineup it shoulda been a banger... And fukk this guy, America Is Dying Slowly was a dope ass album. It was one of the few albums that helped rid the disappointment I felt when It Was Written dropped.

That lp was my shyt that summer and I can still bump it.

Read my rely breh. And listen to the song, he missed the point of Joes verse, despite the fact that Joe literally said "the moral of the story is..." :mjlol:

Be an outside culture vulture who is bitter that he was ahead of his time and being a Cac culture vulture dikk eating rapper is in style now.

Also a HipHop head who confused Sadat X and Lord Jamar (with regards to what he said about Sadat)

But he's going to write a book and make $ off of his "Hip Hop" phase
