This post sux..first off..hipster girls are not on hype beast ..they don't give a fukk about expensive trendy clothes and most hipsters if not all hipsters shop at vintage/used clothing stores..

They're not on any rap forum cuz they listen to music like joy division(a hipsters favorite) and I know, cuz I get compliments for my joy division tee shirt by hipsters when ever I wear it..

I guess I am kind of a hipster cuz I ride a Bianchi vintage 10 speed, which puts any hipsters bike to shame cuz it's high end and the real thing,..

You can find hipsters at coffee shops reading juxtapose magazines and at dive bars drinking tall cans of PBR with ironic funny tattoos ..

Real hipsters listen to rap too. They prob know more about hip hop than your average fan. They are usually more into underground and socially conscious rap (MF Doom, Immortal Technique, Lupe, Cudi, Nas & others). They listen to all types of music just as long as it isn't garbage. They are more discriminating when it comes to rap.

I dont know where you've been but unless you're a bike messenger people stopped riding "fixies" years ago. People grow out of obnoxious colored bikes, the danger, oh and the fact walmart started selling them ready made for under 200 bucks.

I was a hipster once. you know, and I remember one guy I met talked about how he wished a few artists would die (he mostly talking about some Hyphy artists at the time). The girl I mess wit lives in Williamsburg, Brooklyn......she's trying to make the full transition from a bay area semi-hood asian chik to a Brooklyn hipster..I love going to bars over there...chiks over there be cute as shyt and noooone of them are fat. It's like the hoodlums and rats out here in bk don't even know about this part of town...and these bars have cheap drinks with drugs easily available(if you're into that stuff).... I'm going to be out there tomorrow night.

Most us listened to Living legends, A bunch of local bay area artists, def jux, Anticon, and a bunch of stuff that would be called nerd rap on a forum like this.

Somebody who listened to immortal technique, Nas, or Lupe wouldn't be respected in our circle. We all liked biggie before we liked tupac too. Tupac was hated for some reason. I still can't really listen to the dude's music.

you know whats funny...the hipsters here are actually into rap and shyt. I was at a hose party over on Ashland, far east, and there was lots of hip-hop played...

i think detroit is unique in its hipsters though, since Techno is such a big part of our musical landscape pretty much EVERYONE is into it, so its not obscure to like it. So its not uncommon to see these hipster chicks latched onto some rap steez, largest amount of hipster chicks i ever seen was in Wu Tang concert.

i was there in December ... dive bars galore and they had 32 once beers for $4

they came in a white styrofoam cup...bar was called rosemary's tavern and it was on bedford avenue or some shyt
