He's called Rembert, he's wearing sun glasses in his pic, he writes about tennis, and just look at the style of this piece. Hipster.
Depends on your definition of hipsters. When I think of hipsters I think of people who reject mainstream ideas and try to elevate themselves above others. He writes about mainstream sports (NFL, NBA, etc) and he pokes fun at himself a lot.

He may have some hipster qualities but I don't even think he would identify himself as a full-blown hipster.

I remember being on SOHH back then but I forget what people were saying. The forum was buzzing about the show tho.

Without a shadow of a doubt, the greatest chappelle show episode is Clayton Bigsby as the black white supremacist. That set the tone of the show. That was executed so well :wow: I can't :to:

Then the second legendary episode was the Rick James/Charlie Murphy shyt. It was such a huge story it got its own episode. Too many quotes from that shyt. It shut television down and elevated that show past south park officially as the comedy central staple.

After that I think its up to your personal views. The wayne brady skit was BEEEEEYOND funny to me:
- "dave bytches, bytches dave"
- "oh shyt! its wayne brady son"
- "this ain't no option nikka, smoke that shyt"
- "does wayne brady have to choke a bytch"

I could go on and on

Making the band was quality. That president episode.....wooooo...."M-a-r-s Mars son!" We got Japan bring playstations. We got a coalition of the WILLING. lmao

nikkas always slept on that musical instrument episode. That freestyle that dude dropped in the barbershop was a classic. "All up in ya face like boom pow surprise!"

I felt the race draft had the potential to be the greatest of all time greatest of all time.

Just rewatched the Rick James episode for the first time in....God...probably 4 years or more?

I think Charlie Murphy might be the greatest storyteller of all time. I forgot how INCREDIBLE a speaker/storyteller he is during this. Man. :wow:

He's called Rembert because thats his name.

I went to school with Rem. He was a good kid. He's not a hipster. He grew up in Atlanta, went to an Ivy League college...turned into your pretty typical ivy league guy post college.

Co-sign. It wouldn't even be the same having someone else tell the story. Just the way he describes things is funny even though he's not trying to be.

Have you seen That's My Brother? If not, you need to Youtube it; shyt's hilarious.
