It was Phi Beta Sigma that put the battery in the backs of these Latin fraternity/sororities to ape the BGLOs.

The Sigmas helped found Sigma Lambda Beta (the Latin fraternity in the OP). Gave them Sigma knowledge, taught them how to step, stroll. Even their hand sign is a play off the Phi Betas.

Now we have these abominations today.
