I see where you're coming from but, why does the la raza keep making claims that this is their land when that was hundreds of years ago, and they don't own the rights of the property in paper. They do have mexico, so why not try to build that land up into a superpower and then buy out land from the u.s.a., and reclaim it?. "Just saying this is our land, you stole it", is a waste of energy, especially when you have land and resources to buy the land back. It also makes the group look like a joke because they are speaking on something that we all know but, they have no ideas on how to get the land back as well as deal with everyone here that aren't native to the land. Then what about people who have been here for hundreds of years,don't they have a stake on the land?.

So why would you just "let them all in" if its about money and power?. If you do that you as a citizen will have a harder life due to over population and lower waged.

What I don't get is why is it so hard to gain citizenship for a lot of countries, yet from what I understand it is easy to hecome one here. For a regular person to gain citizenship in mexico or canada, you need to be an investor, professional, or retiree, and live there for at least 5 years. Maybe its not easy for the u,s,a but I think it is considering a lot of people who come here are not one of those requirements. Maybe that is why canada has a lot of immigrants, yet relatively safe, they have immigrants who bring a lot to the table.

A Key Largo man reportedly tired of "illegal immigrants" was jailed Friday for threatening a man with a knife after asking a group of people for "their papers," the Monroe County Sheriff's Office says.

The 50-year-old man that Dean Ford, 53, allegedly pulled the knife on is from Miami and was born in the United States, the agency says.

Deputy Becky Herrin said that about 1 p.m., Ford told Deputy Dave Campbell, who had been called to Ocean Way Drive in Rock Harbor after Ford pulled the knife, that he is "tired of all these illegal immigrants living and working in the area" and said he "was going to deal with it."

The Miami man told Campbell he was working on a house on Ocean Way Drive when Ford "burst in the door" and demanded to see immigration papers. Ford, after cutting window screens on the house, reportedly hit the man on his hand with the knife when the victim went to get his phone to call police.

Neighbors recognized witness descriptions of Ford, who lives in an apartment on Buttonwood Circle. That's where he was arrested on felony counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and burglary, and misdemeanor counts of battery and criminal mischief. Bond was set at $114,000.
