When did I say Wade won a title without help? :jbhmm:

I already acknowledged Waded failures(including his horrific Defense in the 2014 NBA Finals) the difference in this thread is, the goalpost kept moving by a few others saying that Wades failures(missing the playoffs twice, getting bounced out of the 1st round multiple times) never happened to the true "Greats" or the guys Wade is being compared to.

You keep pushing this "Scott free" narrative when talking about the dynamic between LBJ and the Heat organization/Dwyane Wade. You sound like Chuck. Bottom line is, LBJ got alot of Hate and blame after 2011, then he got alot of credit and love after winning two and bouncing back to Cleveland. You really think all the Hate Miami received was just reserved for LBJ and the organization got off free? How so? Because people stopped paying attention to the Heat? :jbhmm:

And last but not least, where would you rank Dwade All-Time?

My mistake...I misread. I apologize for that breh.

This thread did take a turn however, I have been remained on topic the whole time.

I sound like real. Wade didn't catch any wide scale flack for that shyt. Everybody at the pep rally...giggling and dancing and shyt, who did it follow for 4 years? Everybody spoke but who's sound bite was replayed and paraphrased ad nauseam? Who was the "villain"? Damn sure not Wade or Riles or anyone else in the org. They actually got props and were held in even higher esteem. You not liking the reality of what happened or an idiot acknowledging it does not change the fact that it happened or rather didn't happen. Bron got the credit and the blame, that's fair. Wade doesn't get either. That is fair as well. You can't expect one without the other. Bron got hate for going against the pre-conceived narratives in 2010. He got love for following the storybook narrative, with 2 rings in tow mind you, in 2014.

The Heat haven't got anywhere near the same amount of attention (good or bad) since he left. You really trying to debate this? :dahell:. They just missed the fukking playoffs in the East and finished behind a Pacers team who were without their best two players from the previous year for pretty much the whole year and not a fukking peep. Summer of 11 was 1000x hotter (after a Finals run) and it was all directed at one guy.

I'd say Wade is definitely top 50.

You have a point about Miami not catching too much flack for missing the playoffs in the East. But any time Miami's failures to make the playoff's does come up, it gets chalked up to LBJ no longer being there for them to lean on. I'd honestly rather they just blame Miami and Wade than people thinking the legacy of the franchise lies in the palm of LBJ's hand. At this point I'd rather hear that, than to keep hearing LBJ's name mentioned anytime people talk about Miami. We Heat fans need to move on(its partly our faults) and we need to exorcize the LBJ ghost.

Why? The spectre of past greats hangs over many an org. I never understood Heat fans getting so defensive about Bron. It's like so many of ya'll, even when he was there, were so determined to maintain a certain level of distance and cling to your identity outside of him. Ya'll had one of the greatest players ever choose to come to ya'll squad, and lead ya'll to a ridiculous 4 year run. Yeah he left, but he still gave ya'll more in 4 years than most teams will have in 20.

I once saw it like that. Like no matter what LBJ does with the rest of his career his prime will always be tied to Miami. You have a point. Because they won't be able to discuss LBJ's legacy without discussing us. But in all honesty, I just want the Heats model to follow The Lakers. Just winning championships with diffirent superstars across different eras. Who knows, Miami seems to be an attractive free agent market.

They have followed it. Thing is Magic still hangs over that franchise, 20 years after he played, even with great success since. Even if the Bulls were to win a couple chips, Jordan still ain't goin anywhere. You can embrace what he did for ya'll and move forward at the same time. Please don't follow the Laker fan (more like Kobe stans) example of riding against nikkas that helped you win and achieve relevance on behalf of another nikka that helped you win and achieve relevance.

The only players last 25 years who have won a title with only role players around them. No legit Robin to their Batman on their team at time of winning ring.

Hakeem

Wade

Dirk

Duncan in 2003 - D rob was flabby n sick

wade and dirk = hmmm i dunno. Miami had a top 3 all time coach and a bunch of HOF vets that gelled at the right time. Dallas caught a break because lebron quit on wade.

You taking Dave fukkin DeBusschere (sp), Tiny Archibald, James Worthy, Sam Jones, or Scottie Pippen over D. Wade? :stopitslime: I'd put him over Pearl and Clyde too even though both are extremely underrated, especially Clyde.

Wade had a better career than James Worthy and Scottie Pippen? :mindblown: And Dave DeBusschere was a player AND the coach at age 24 :damn: Archibald is the only player to lead the league in points AND assists in the same season :wow: Drexler and is a career 20, 7, and 7 as a 2 guard:huhldup: Perhaps, and I mean PERHAPS Earl the Pearl, but Earl is probably one of the greatest playground legends ever in the USA

Yeah. He won a title as a first option and had a peak higher than either of those guys AND he played the 2nd fiddle role for a couple rings too. Being a coach makes you a better player? :dahell: One season does not a career or overall player make. I was referencing Frazier, not Drexler. Him vs. Wade is arguable though.

Wade has got to be somewhere in the top 50. He has played at a high level and been over 20 plus a game for well over a decade and while he has been injured some it's not like he had a Penny Grant Hill type of career where he was missing whole seasons and shyt. You know a healthy Wade is giving you 25 5 5 with a couple of steals and a block a night too. With a very high fg percentage to go with it too. The only weakness he has is his outside shot but he's managed to be more then effective with it. You can knock him all you want but he got a title before Bron got there and only missed the playoffs twice in his career. One season in which it was a total tank job to get the number one pick. But Wade is consistent and while he has fallen off some due to the injuries if he plays 70 games with good health he'll still put up 22 4 and 4 this year. Guaranteed.
