So you think people were pulling blocks weighing up to 50 tons for hundreds of miles?:snoop:

No, they used barges. There are quarry sites up and down the Nile River. The vast majority of the building material for the pyramids came from the Giza Plateau itself, so they only had to move them a few hundred yards.

Sure, there is. Look up 'Internal Ramp Theory' by Jean-Pierre Houdin.

Dudes think the Egyptians weren't intelligent enough to construct 'em, but they already were using Algebra and Geometry.

If you start off a 'documentary' with a demonstrably false allegation, the rest has GOT to be.....:duck:

Maybe I worded that wrong. What I'm trying to say is that "modern" man does not have a clue as to how the pyramids were constructed. At best, there are theories, but they are all unproven...

Ancient man wasn't primitive by any stretch. I would go so far as to say that we are not the most "modern" civilization in the history of mankind.

Even if you have to move 50 tons 5 feet, you think that's attainable by sheer man power?:russ:

Nah. Doesn't explain how the stone was manipulated to a point of exactness.

I don't even believe that's how they moved the stone

We DO have a clue as to how they were constructed, though. An unproven theory is still a theory which is why I didn't go past the 30-second mark of the video. The narrator said there were none which is a lie.

Sure. They were using pulleys which have been found at all the pyramid sites. Pulleys divide the labor needed to move loads.

Yeah I know all the theories on how they've built the pyramids, but come on breh. Pulleys to move weight in excess of 100,000 pounds up a ramp by slaves who were probably starving? As precise and symmetrical as those pyramids were built in conjunction to the stars and the other pyramids built on this planet?

I can't accept the current theories on how they were built much like I can't accept the theory by some that we're the only intelligent life in the universe.

Some things just can't be explained based on what we currently know. And the video, from what I've watched so far, and as far fetched as the ideas are, is at the very least trying to make sense of what could have really happened.

Here are the types of joints that were found in the pyramids...These were found in Saqqarra.

At least one piece is so flawlessly turned that the entire bowl (about 9" in diameter, fully hollowed out including an undercut of the 3in opening in the top) balances perfectly (the top rests horizontally when the bowl is placed on a glass shelf) on a round tipped bottom no bigger than the size and shape of the tip of a hen's egg !

This requires that the entire bowl have a symmetrical wall thickness without any substantial error! (With a base area so tiny - less than .15 " sq - any asymmetry in a material as dense as granite would produce a lean in the balance of the finished piece.) This kind of skill will raise the eyebrows of any machinist. To produce such a piece in clay would be very impressive. In granite it is incredible.

So called ancient man was way beyond pulleys and levers...Not to say that they weren't being used, but still.

These types of measurements can only be achieved via a machine in modern times, not by hand.

As stated, the Egyptians were using Algebra and Geometry so that accounts for the precision. The 'slaves' were actually master craftsmen, many of whom were actually buried in tombs near the pyramids they helped construct. To be sure, slaves were used for menial labors, but they were overseen by craftsmen and it doesn't make sense to 'starve' slaves.

There really is no valid reason to reject either theory.

The video is actually making a mockery of human intelligence by positing that our ancestors were incapable of creating these things without help from extraterrestrials.
