I was JUST about to say this! I never understood black people who complained about slavery movies. First of all, there arent that many to begin with. We need more of these films for no other reason than to make sure no one forgets what WE been through, including US. There are too many black children who do not know how horrible slavery was. This is what happens when you rely on your enemy to teach your children.

It’s sad because the real issue of reparations were used by republican propaganda machines to poison the mind of a easily influenced ignorant segment of our community and suppress the vote for democrats . Like anyone with common sense knows that the gop will never give us reparations, I mean they’re literally trying to erase the history of slavery
