Graduated college last december. It feels good to not be totally broke and hand my money over to the university every 4-6 months.
Still don't feel like shyt tho gonna keep saving till I feel comfortable. I remember my accounts havin the parentheses and id just let it rock till I came up on some paper

I'm currently at 18,500 right now. Hoping to be past 19 by Easter. Then by memorial day hopefully at 20k or at least 19,750. Seeing this thread reminds me that I should increase my savings rate a bit now. Gonna add $20 more a week plus $10 more to my vacation spending fund.

I have about the same amount in my bank accounts at 10k but all in all my net worth is about 70k. Working at a company that pays well and matches contributions is the move, i was eating good off of that. Then i got unhappy with the job and my coworkers and put in my two weeks but the company i moved to finessed me in the interviews and im on a lower salary now with a better work/life balance but i got a baby on the way in july so i'll see some strain on the finances prolly. But saving most of my money at my last job gave me a nice cushion
