Hes always been a solid rapper but his projects like Surf Club and the Chauncey Hollis project (still his best solo/artist work) showcased it better

He's an ok rapper but I have zero interest in hearing him rap beyond a feature verse here or there. Just seems like a weird career choice in light of Metro Boomin having one of the biggest albums in the country right now. That's the producer album people want.

I fee like slipping into the darkness and the tide are the best songs on this in my opinion. The rest of this is is just ok. I put most the album in my playlists, but most the songs are a consistent 7 to me so far.
