Despise him? Wow.
I think ALC is a better producer but Hit Boy is dope to me as well.
The last thing I want to hear is him with his old retred collaborators, Conway, Marci, Boldy, Action and Earl. Talk about boring. This year him branching out to do this and work with 2 Chainz is great and refreshing the ALC sound. 2 Chainz and June actually elevated the beats to better conceptual records than we are used to. Great album.
Bro the thing is that you and @Whips-n-Chains don't even have to choose between these options. He prefers those guys, and Alc just did a Marci project 10 months ago, and Boldy and Conway projects are both done and right around the corner. And you get to enjoy the stuff with Larry, Chainz, and Hit.

There's enough of all this to go around for everyone's taste.

Altadena name drop, automatic 5 mics.
Nah I'm playing this shyt is dope for real, nice variety of beats and tempos. Both HB and Alc are above average if not elite spitters. Not gon lie I wouldn't mind a Larry June feature. :yeshrug:

Can't wait for the new Armand Hammer, Haram is still the craziest/most left-field sounding album of the Alc modern renaissance.

It legit took me years to enjoy Armand Hammer (not until 2025) but now that I do? :wow:

I still gotta be in the right mood and can't bump them anytime. But at the right time? :wow:

i thought mick and cooley was by alchemist:dead: hit boy killed that beat shyt they both cooked, and conway just:wow:
Texted my friend the same thing. Was shocked to see Hit did that. He killed it!

Whole album caught me by surprise with how much I liked it. Did not expect to get an entire album of Hit Boy and Alchemist rapping this well. Loved the diversity of production. Gonna be running this back for awhile.

Got a chance to listen to most of it yesterday, this is a lot better than I expected. They really brought out the best in each other with the rapping.

"Ricky" :wow:

I never seen two rappers with as differing opinions on them as these 2 guys. I've read on other online places too besides The Coli. Lotta people love Al's raps and hate them. And think they're in the middle. Lotta people love Hit's raps and hate them. And lotta people think they're in the middle. '

It does seem most people like this project, though, but the differences and spectrum in opinions on both of their raps is all over the map.

From what it seems...Alc's rap style especially since 2022 when he started rapping again on 60 Days (after almost a decade long hiatus) is far more stylized, which leads to a lot of polarization. It's more like Roc Marci's flow, and that same over stylized flow also turns some others off due to them seeing it as derivative or copying. And not everyone like's Roc's flow. Hit-Boy's rapping is a more easily digestible, and a more traditional, which is easy on the ears, but the people that dislike it consider it more bland and generic.

@bigdaddy88 I'm tagging you because I added a paragraph after you dapped

On an unrelated note, Home Improvement is my favorite song on here, for sure.
