Damn I was expecting them to just do brag raps this whole album but a LOT of this is real personal and introspective bars over soul beats. And a lot of storytelling. I wasn’t expecting it to sound like this at all.

Hit-Boy has REALLY improved as an MC. Spending those three years locked in with Nas did wonders for his pen game.

Off first listen this might be the most enjoyable project Alchemist has been involved in this year. Alfredo 2 objectively better because Gibbs is a better rapper but that album thematically was extremely limited while Hit and Alch are wayyy more varied here with their subject matter.
