Lyrically, a case can always be made about Hit'em up being overrated, but.......

the sheer levels of disrespect shown in that song is what nikkas will always remember, thus making it an all time top ten diss record.

At the end of the day, great diss songs have to hurt their opponent, be disrespectful, and most of all be memorable. and Hit em up is all of that.

The fact that all these years later, nikkas still bringin up hit em up in these types of discussions is just a testament to its greatness, but
