Will Flo-Rida still be able to get show money in 15 years?
Flor-rida won't need it, that's the point. He'll make more and has made more during his run than AZ ever has. He's automatically going to get you a top 20 radio record for at leasy another 3 years anyway.
I blame Nelly, he's why this dude exists.

Hit records are momentary. Classic albums are timeless.
do you know why theyre out of print? oh, and theyve been out of print more than once.
OP is mad vague with his assertion.
im not sure what type of rappers hes referring to when he talks about classic albums with no hit records. im seeing internet names like MF Doom(no disrespect) thrown around in here. guys that most people never heard an album from or just flat-out never heard of. you cant even call his stuff classic really. its more like internet cult-classics.
now if you take an album thats widely considered a classic like say a "liquid swords", which at best had a couple rap city hits, then yes, a dude like GZA has a larger window to make money than somebody like tyga. once tyga is no longer being forced onto the airwaves, he will quickly be forgotten. as opposed to GZA, whos still eating off of stuff from darn near 20 years ago and will continue to eat for years to come.
but then, on the other hand, theres rappers who are in the middle and never had classic LPs but accompanied their big hits with respectable albums. alot of them end up making the most money actually - nelly, eminem, ludacris, busta rhymes, lil wayne, T.I., etc.

A bonafide hip-hop classic has some rather big hits on them anyway. Even MF Doom could make a great living from his material if he cared enough/didn't have the visa problems.

AZ has 1 "hit" record off an album that still hasnt gone gold (could be wrong. didnt check riaa website). Sugar Hill went gold during the sales boom in rap.
My point was that AZ has no solo sales success and is still charging about 5K a show at least a decade after he's been pushed on the radio and 2 decades since his 1st verse on Illmatic.
You think people who bump rack city give a a shyt about Tyga. It was produced by DJ Mustard, all people care about is the beat any random bytch could of went on that and it be a hit. "When you make hit records like that you make the producer a star"
