I would agree, but EVERYONE gets hype for a knockout, no matter who you had.

That clutch HR either ignites or utterly DEADS an entire team, city, and fanbase :wow:

But, that takes nothing away form a knockout, tho... still hype as fukk and mad replayable :myman:
Gibsons hr in 88 destroyed a would be As dynasty.:lawd:

Playoff at-bats in the 7th-9th innings are one of the most tense moments in sports. It's one-on-one. Batter vs pitcher. Jacking a key home run in that situation must be the GOAT feeling.

The bottom of the ninth two out game tying or game winning home run is the GOAT. You can attempt to argue a jumper in basketball or a pass or run in football but it's not the same because there are other components at factor. In football there are teammates who have to block, pass run etc. In basketball you have other players on the court who can give spacing, screen etc to help the shooter. In baseball it's simply "mano amono", pitcher against hiter and it's up to one of those two players to solely get the job done. Only thing that might come close is a penalty kick in soccer or a shootout in hockey.

I don't even watch hockey but the shootout was the GOAT until they changed the rules to multiple players getting attempts.

Could you imagine a game seven in the NHL Finals with a top scorer going against a top goalie and there being only one penalty shot with no time remaining for the Stanley Cup? That shyt would be nerve racking as he'll.
