Russia’s own service members have been complaining about this for centuries. They were complaining about HIV positive recruits and sexual violence relatively early into their invasion of Ukraine.
They don’t actually live the masculine image they so badly want to portray. They’re a very slight notch above the “p*ssy is for procreation, bussy is for recreation” that the Afghans and Pakistani’s are on.

Drugs and in the prisons, because they have a huge prison rape culture. This is what I remember reading.
Lack of reproductive education. It’s kind of like how places like middle Georgia, rural Louisiana, and Mississippi have drastically high rates of STD transmission and child/teenage pregnancies.
