ok thanks.. i got it a week ago and been fukking around with it so i know the basics. i can use the magic wand to cut out a head, but i cant isolate the head in ps. its still in a box so when i try and upload it on here it looks shytty.

this, for example, i just made yesterday

don't use the wand.

use the pen.

turn the pen's path into a selection.

select inverse.

delete the inverse.

select background layer and delete it.

save as .png file

the reason you have the white background is because you didn't save it as a png file.

play with the pen tool...it takes some practice.
after you make a point you can hold on to the mouse button and play with the angle as you pull it...

it's an art.

It does the white box when the transparent image is too big. If you read the info on the smilie thing before you upload, it says that it will do that. You need to make the image smaller and have less space around the smilie.

i have no idea either, those instructions are stupid complicated. my friend did it for me. i just got into torrents about a month ago and all i can do it d/l movies and music by myself.
