HL what is your opinion on the Death Penalty? Is it right or wrong?

I just got done watching an excellent documentary following the last days of several death row inmates. Listening to the stories and circumstances around their convictions I was a bit troubled. Texas seems to treat every case as black and white with no grey area. I'm interested in hearing some different point of views on the topic. The documentary is posted below, very compelling piece.

Too many people have been wrongly convicted for me to be for it. If the courts and police were 100 % fair, i'd support it.

Life is another death penalty they're just buried alive.

I think the most heinous and child molestors that have been proven to be guitly should get tortured than murked. I remember reading the other day about how the death penalty is worse than murder and I agree that's why it should be used for the most extreme cases.
