I've been recording in professional studios for 15 years. Not once did I use a reference track. I MADE one for an autotune singing ass nikka who couldn't execute his lyrics properly. I also rewrote his verse for him. Why? He paid for the studio time and more. The people on the paying end don't deserve respect. You're a cornball and that statement was the most moronic and inaccurate group of words I've ever seen paired together...IN MY LIFE, regarding this music shyt. People do that for singer broads, singer dudes, and fukkboys who really can't rap. You must be a "fukkboy who can't rap" connoisseur to see that shyt often. After Drake, who is your favorite fukkboy who can't rap?

:pachaha: that must have really hurt your feelings huh?

im just saying its more common than people think

bigger artists like drake generally don't have time to be living in the studio all day perfecting verses and hooks

they gotta get in and out so a reference track helps speed up the process

yall emotional ass nikkas take that shyt somewhere

It's not the same exact thing but it's still ghostwriting. If you have an issue with the Drake shyt then you should take issue with this. Both are writing verses for another person in a collaborative effort.

Like I said before I lose respect for the rapper when I find out they have people penning whole verses but I still love the songs just the same and the music. It never changes how I listen to the music, just how I view you as an MC.

Breh, it was for raekwons album. Rae wrote it and got ghost to do the parts he wanted. Now if ghost hired Rae to write shyt for a ghost album then I could see that.

Where's the Drake ft Quintin Miller track? Okay then. We're talking a whole 'nother level of ghost writing where the self proclaimed best rapper in the game is actively recruiting other mc's so they can create cadences, bars & flows for him on multiple songs then pass them off as his own so he can continue to perpetuate his fake persona.

In other words...Get the fukk outta here.

Rae and Ghost made ALBUMS together and they're best friends, who HAPPEN TO BE IN THE SAME GROUP AND FORMED A GROUP OF THEIR OWN. Not the same AS PAYING someone to WRITE FOR YOU.

Niqqas is fukkin stupid.
This.

It's very simple. Show us the reference tracks that EVERYONE else is doing and you have a case. So far its just Drake

OP has been telling fallacies about not being a Drake stan

I'm highly disappointed that you would deceive us and push a narrative as if you rarely listen or respect Drake when you know exactly what your doing , God has something in store for individuals of your character. Emotions haven't flowed through me like this since Baby Maine ran me out of Harlem .

This is a back and forth track. That's the case with a lot of these kind of tracks. I think Styles and Jada do the same thing.
Lol do brehs really think that each person writes their part and they put it all together to make it rhyme??

They're on the track together rhyming. That was basically a duo album. When is Quentin Miller gonna get that kind of shine? His career is ruined

In OP's Mind:

Two people in the same group working together and doing a song TOGETHER is the same as one guy writing songs, then singing/rapping the song for them and then walking them through how it's supposed to be done and then not even being on the track. Quentin is an ASPRING ARTIST who does his own songs and released a mixtape and Drake can't put him on 1 fukkING TRACK. The Jew is strong in Drake, man.
