Props on the info about clams casino and genesis!Keep It Thoro was a monster record back then. Not on the charts, but everyone into hip hop played that muhfukka.
over the years, "Genesis" (the track that influenced Clams Casino's sound) and especially "Cant Complain" have stuck with me. "Never Feel The Pain" are "YBE" are nice cuts too.
the album has aged better than a lot of records

well i've already told you i think LiveLove is a 10/10 project. And i've heard that Havoc song....off the From now on tapebruh, Clams Casino came up through Havoc. Look up "Always Have a Choice." Casino's sound is Mobb Deep + Wu-tang.
It's so weird on the Coli how people give me a hard time for loving Live.Love.ASAP. And I'm thinking: "do these guys not realize that a big part of ASAP Rocky's sound is basically Mobb Deep/Wu-tang but screwed?" Why wouldn't I be blown away by that?
If you're a Havoc/RZA/Timbaland fan, it's borderline impossible to not fukk with Clams Casino. and Rocky by extension.

How do you know Clams was influenced by "Genesis?" Did he say it in an interview? I always loved the atmosphere of the "Genesis" beat and I think it was Prodigy produced or looped it. Makes sense that Clams would be inspired by it.
