Why is Mahomes trying to run toward the sideline rather than upfield when they have three timeouts

No idea why Big Red ain't call timeout after Mahomes ran for that first down. They rushed to the line of scrimmage and executed poorly as a result. Terrible clock management.

It's been pissing me off the last few games. Don't know if it's Mahomes not trusting the line or the playcalling but that exact same scenario has happened so many times this scenario. Mahomes is like the anti-Josh Allen where as soon as he rolls out like that I know ain't shyt happening.
