Hulk really messed up.
I was watching a Royal Rumble when he won and he was standing in the ring posing, gestering to the crowd with his theme music blaring.

He would get a huge pop anywhere because racism is everywhere, y'all keep trying to make racism regional.
His pops were down the last time around...he's not getting some huge ovation after this situation. He's gonna have to deal with the anti-Hogan marks that want to get vocal whenever he does return and they WILL think of a slick chant for him over this.

If there is one situation that would bring out anti-Hogan mark chants it would be this situation, but one of the things I've been really surprised about him the past 15 years is how the crowds have generally been kind to him once he went back to WWE when they had every reason to get on him. Maybe the pops werent huge pops but I didnt see any heat either
I however didnt watch all of his TNA run so I cant speak on that, but I was

When I went to msg last year his pops were definitely insane but it was his appreciation night but his pops dwindled from the 2003-2010 era cuz one they brought him out too often for non storyline stuff like being dressed like Santa and the fact that fans know he can't step in the ring anymore for a match
I really have no idea what the reaction would be like if he returned but in my opinion it would be most effective if he got one or two big event appearances and a send off acknowledging that the universe forgives him and he gets his statue then he really shouldn't be used to come out randomly to promote whatever PC PR Stefani is trying to promote just have him step away but not be shunned out of history and still celebrated for what Hulk meant to wrestling history
Austin is great at not letting wwe oversaturate him and only comes for big events since he knows he can't have a full on match anymore

There are some hints that Hulk Hogan could be back by WrestleMania. It was never a question of “if” he would be back but “when” he would be back. The company needs names for the show so an appearance by Hogan would not be out of the question.
Dave Meltzer reports that Hogan is asking for a shockingly low number to do appearances in Dallas during WrestleMania weekend. The number is about one-tenth of what his usual asking price is. Those who are interested in using him have gotten the vibe that they think he is headed back to WWE shortly if not during that weekend.
Hogan has kept quiet for the most part but last month he was still telling fans that he’d like to have his retirement match at WrestleMania 32 in Dallas:

I'm not saying he has to be crying and blubbering on some Jimmy Swaggart shyt.....but he should at least quickly (and maybe vaguely) acknowledge his wrongdoing on some "even the Hulkster is flawed....but I promise to redeem myself" shyt. Then end the promo strong with a "watchugonnado".....
Of course real nikkas will watch the whole thing like
