You mentioned Hogan turning heel, and my point is obviously he didnt do so until '96 when Hulkamania was corny and well past it's prime....when Hogan turned the boos were coming from OLDER fans who grew up watching him. As long as kid fans are still buying hats, t-shirts, etc Cena is still in his "prime" so to speak and on another level he reps a greater cause w/ his characters' message.

Austin's demographic was teens and older but kids were 100% behind Austin. They wore his shirt in droves..everybody knows that. He reached everybody.
