this is just patently untrue.... the seahawks identity has literally nothing to do with russell...
NFL Players Inc. Top 10 player sales ranking

1. Russell Wilson, Seattle Seahawks

2. Peyton Manning, Denver Broncos

3. Colin Kaepernick, San Francisco 49ers

4. Tom Brady, New England Patriots

5. Aaron Rodgers, Green Bay Packers
Russell is one of the most popular players not just in Seattle, but in the NFL.

Marshawn Lynch is half of our offense. Russell Wilson is the other half.

Hence my statement. 1 Richard Sherman, 2 Marshawn Lynch, 3 Russell Wilson.

Well, that wasn't your statement... your statement was

Russell is as much this team's identity as Richard Sherman and Marshawn Lynch

Identity is a different thing than popularity among fans, or importance on the field...

its about how the team presents itself and who they feel represents them as a squad... russell is still a kid really... and there was obvious backtalk against him from his own players (which i dont support) at the start of the year...

if anything the identity of the team would be defined by Sherman, Kam, Earl and then marshawn... its an alltime great defense.

all of that isnt to say that russell isnt an amazing player and should get his money... but he is not the player this squad uses to identify themselves...

i dont even know what jersey sales has to do with it.

If we can't use jersey sales to quantify identify, I don't really know what we can use.

All I can tell you is this. If Seahawk fans had to define it, they'd say Marshawn is the Hearth, Richard is the Soul, and Russell is the Brain of the team.

We talk about how strong, fearsome, and badass Beast Mode is, how great, brash, and skillful Richard/the LOB is, and how smooth, smart, and clutch Russell is.

I don't know how you can tell me that isn't true, but I guess we'll just agree to disagree on this one. One thing we do agree on though is Russell Wilson finally going to get every cent he deserves, which is a lot.

Ask Black Alex to be the reason you win a game.

Go ahead.

Do it
Your continued self ether is legendary status :wow:

The way the game ended has nothing to do with Baby Hair playing poorly and throwing 4 picks...

The key plays that changed the game...fake field goal...lynch touchdown run...recovered onside kick...had nothing to do with Baby Hair...

When the team was down and struggling and they put the pressure on baby hair to lead them...he folded like a 65 dollar suit from Dillards...

After the fake field goal and Lynch putting the team on his back baby hair didn't have to carry the load and...well...they came back and won the game...

Funny how that happened...the very second the team started relying on everyone BUT baby hair to make a big play...their fortunes turned around...
:smh: now you just sound like a hater. Like he didn't come up clutch when the game was on the line. :stopitslime:
Russell gets the credit for those 4 picks but nobody wants to mention 2 of them came off Kearses hands.

Debatable. Kam/Beast are the soul, Earl is the heart and Russ/Pete are the brains.
