Alex got 23 tds to 6 interceptions 226 ypg, he plays smart and lets his defense do their job.
Russel Wilson 24 tds 8 interceptions 220ypg, he plays smart and lets his dominant defense do their job.
Don't let your misguided judgement of Alex Smith cloud your judgement. I think both are very good QB's. When you look at them they;re very similar.
I dont hate on Alex Smith at all, I think hes a fine, serviceable quarterback.
By watching the games, you know Russ can make more of a variety of throws compared to him though.
But there it is, in black and white. About 58 percent of Kansas City’s receiving yardage (386 of 669) has come after the catch. The Chiefs have done a decent job of turning some of those short passes into long gains and if that continues, it bodes well for their passing game and offense as a whole.
Protection problems have often forced quarterback Alex Smith to unload the ball to a receiver running a shorter pattern, but the short passing game is also mostly by design. It allows the Chiefs to be efficient (Smith has yet to throw an interception) and play to Smith’s strengths.
Per espn on September 24.
that's where I got it from actually. On extremeskins, Redskins have a NET -7.5 which is the worst in like over a decade.
