The labels will only sign or promote white people when they're courting artists who sing proper soul/RnB. Same reason why conscious rappers are never signed.

Yea I thought this was a black dude singing that for the longest....then when I found out it suddenly made sense why he was getting so much play on the popular radio stations. Which says it all really. But at least he has some talent unlike Cacklemore and Iggy :yeshrug:
