I mean, she's italian. ACTUAL italians can often be confused as being spanish (from spain) and the languages are close enough that if you speak spanish you probably can pick up italian pretty easy and vice versa.

I always felt like she was different but not latina. Knowing that she's italian it makes sense to me. She's white with exotic features... Most italians have that kinda look and only people I know talk about her are white

Look up the history of the Moors in Sicily, Portugal, Spain, and the Iberian Peninsula (700 years they ruled). They have that North African, little bit SSA, and Middle Eastern in them. You do have a chunk that's 100% Euro though. Most of them are different from Northern Europeans and they have a rivalry going.
