I was looking up stuff online. She has the look and last name. But turns out she's Italian....I never seen a white girl with her look and that type of swag before...that's fucckin crazy!!!

I'm 31 so I ain't watch Nickelodeon since Kenan & Kel final episode. Maybe y'all kids knew...but this is shocking to me! I thought she was a modern day J.Lo on the come up.

True. She was already doing R&B. I just mean, I think after the 1st album didn't quite do what they thought it would, I think the L.A. and the label was on some "you should go the Britney route" and she was was like "naw, they ain't me. That ain't what I wanna do". So they let her do her thing and then you got the alternative rock pop songs she started putting out after that.

Britney was 14x then 10x....she had the right combination of something. Anyways Britney spears was an attractive white woman so i watched her videos on TRL...but I never downloaded a single song of her and I used napster in 1999 and definitely never bought an album,lol. I download 1 Britney song in 2008 or 2009 and it was womanizer as i actually enjoyed it.

i only heard the name and saw the brown face (she didn't look like a tan white person)....plus she was associated with Big Sean. Then once I got back into youtube 2016 I heard the music...seen some interviews...and nothing screamed white girl to me.

Once i found out Mariah Carey was black in the 90's....i accepted it with no questions asked. I consider Mariah a black woman. Mariah doesn't shy away from r&b...Nick Cannon repeatedly referred to her as a beautiful black woman. Mariah is old school one drop rule...not this new aged biracial crap.

I give Obama props for just being black by time he was president....he didn't play the biracial card. He stuck to the one drops rule. granted, I don't agree with his policies as the black condition did not improve. But i give him credit for not going the tiger woods route once he got into office.

Yeah, that song was everywhere. Britney just had more of the full package as an entertainer. She didn't have the vocals like Christina did, but she had "the look", "style" and songs. Britney stayed w/ hits back to back to back to back. Christina had some hits too but not like Britney. Plus, Christina never really found her lane and excelled. She tried the Pop shyt, then she tried to do the R&B thing a bit (cause her voice is R&B all day) but she never really carved out her own lane and stayed in it. She kind of wobbled back and forth.

it's an educational thread. education on white women. i'm not used to white women looking legit brown skin and not tanned (apparently she has the best spray tanner ever...cause there's no hint of orange and I doubt she's doing the tanning bed....or she was using lightening cream in her Nickelodeon days) . Most Mediterraneans can tan pretty easily and get very pale in the winter. She looks Italian in that pic.
