Lotta y'all don't know what you're talking about. The Mavs have been without Dirk, Barea (lately), Dwill, and Devin Harris miss most of the season. Barnes is looking very good as the go-to scorer. But he's the only guy that can create his own shot right now. Barea and Harris are the only guy on the team who can penetrate the defense (pause) and open things up, so without them the offense hasn't looked good. But even with all that they've lost a lot of close games. They're actually in a pretty good position with this upcoming draft. They need a pg and this draft will have pgs. Plus we have pretty good young talent in Barnes, Finny-Smith, Anderson, and Curry.

We've made the playoffs 17 of the last 18 yrs (sans they yr Dirk drank and ate good food after winning the championship and had the lockout)

Every team not named the Spurs has had a bad season the last 20 yrs, it's our turn. We'll be back tho, believe that!

It is what it is, I hope they don't try to get back into the thick of things at any point this season. Tank and see what happens.

Barnes is better than I expected him to be but he's the only one really out there hooping right now.

Got a lot of young talent on the team so it'll be good to see what they can do going forward with another year of experience under their belt.

Although I really don't see Rick getting much outta a top 5 pick Trade Rick for a top 10 and keep tanking. Bring in Jeff Van Gundy. Draft and FA, we'll be back 3-4 seed

This is all about Cuban trying to land a big free agent after the 'ship and breaking that team up. His free agency dreams never worked out. Even if he had gotten the guys he wanted, it wouldn't have worked out. Then the Jordan thing just killed Cuban. They also have been horrible as far as the draft goes. Based on his own comments, I don't think Cuban has the patience to rebuild.

I hope Cuban is smart enugh to rebuilding is the only way. I think the reason he hasn't is because of Dirk. You don't rebuild hen you have your aging superstar giving up alot of money

If you grew up in Dallas in the 90s you'd understand how insane it was the Mavs actually won a title. They were the WOAT team most of the 90s along with the Clippers
