I buy it because Dee gave off a huge amount of bytch made aura (it shows when Bodie is immediately :aicmon: when Dee tries to claim one of Wee Bey's hits) and also Levy was an extremely important part of Barksdale's retinue and too high profile to body. Because of that Levy is pretty brazen dealing with the BO. Noticed when he ignored Stringer's request to close the door :pachaha: and laughs at Stringer's face when he finds out he got rainmade by Clay Davis.

I also think Avon probably would have cosigned that slap. :yeshrug:

Bruh the scene was to show how "weak" he was. He wouldn't have ever smacked Avon like that.

Go back and look at the scene with him and Weebay when he got picked up...

Weebay was the "Burger" and De'Angelo was the "Chicken".

Those writers and directors knew what they were doing. GOAT show
