I thought it was general rule of thumb to never touch anything on the side or the top of the page? People really generate ad revenue for people by clicking on that stuff? I just look at those ads like "oh if I click on it I'll get a virus"

Folks get paid from clicks and impressions. So by having adblock off, youre helping the Coli pay its server costs.
