I Ain't The One part 2 sucks. The beat on the Nas song, along with the terribly sung/flat hook are AWFUL. That stretch of the album where Face goes all religious with Faith & Kelly Price is way light in the ass as well.

Also, classic album have to have classic songs. You may be able to argue The Fix has ONE classic song...Guess Who's Bizzack....and that was a Roc A Fella promotion.

Ive never become a DIE Hard fan off 1 album. Ever..

i became a diehard fan of almost all the artists i originally listened to.

fck a album, i became a die hard fan from just hearing some debut verses.

weird. EVERYONE ELSE had that reaction to Illmatic. the whole 5 mics, street adulation and continued reverence the album has seen the last 18 years and all. Maybe it was a NY thing.

i dont know how old you are but there is a gap of time missing in your references.

it was written had the same exact reaction. minus a few negative mentions of nas selling out that album was revered in the 5 boroughs.

Tons of solo rappers have better bodies of work: Redman, Jigga, Ghostface and Necro come to mind.

necro, redman or jay-z do not have 11 albums. matter of fact the last 3 albums they made couldnt hold a candle to ANY of nas last 3.

again here is that time gap.

guess who bizzack is a classic but the songs everyone said was the best when the album dropped are not? (nas & cold blood)

you seem like you have an infinite amount of bias. you must have been a teenager when fix dropped because your perception of history is off some.

I'm 35 1/2 dummy. Smarten up. No one even cared about The Fix really in New York. I came up with die hard Face fans from Jersey and such. shytholes where Face is HUGE. That album was legacy, lifetime achievement award 5 mics.

the irony in telling me to smarten up.

your tastes are alien. almost like you randomly choose classics.

i vaguely remember you saying your age on :hamster: and it seems like you added 5 years to that. i dont remember you being older than doc doom.

either way that "bogus era" you talkin about we still are living in.

what kind of elder hip-hop head cant feel distant relatives? did you not bump shabba ranks, super cat, the wailers, augustus or burning spear??

Be honest. We're you ever a member of the temple of hip hop? Don't lie.

I choose classics. Sure. Raw footage, The Master, 2pacalypse now are your chosen classics. Who's warped here?

Cutty Ranks, Yellowman, Chaka Demus & Pliers, Shabba, Ninja Man, Buju, Shinehead, Red Rat, Maxi Priest

how do you know what everyone in new york cared out about when your own timeline is off?

also what does everyone else have to do with me?

either way in actuality the fix was one of scarface most popular albums in the east because of the jay-z/kanye affiliation.

you shouldve seen scarface reception when he came out at rock the bells in NJ. it proved the opposite of what you said.

I didn't even provide a timeline you nutcase. Why wouldn't Jersey erupt for Scarface? He's a legend. Doesn't mean that particular album had the streets on fire. He had been a perennial platinum and gold selling artist his entire career. The Fix flopped. Why is that?

there is no need to project with phrases like "dont lie" because i have only been typing the truth.

i am more affiliated with the temple of hip-hop than you (though not a member) as i have listened to and treasure all of KRS albums while you dismiss them like some spoiled child. thats not hip-hop :krs:

its cool you mentioned a buncha reggae pioneers but none of the artists i mentioned.

i guess nas should have did the album with shinehead and you wouldve dug it.

all you do is project. call me a liar, a nutjob etc but you just defining yourself.

i dont need exact dates to break down history. you are talkin about key dates like 2002 (fix) & 96 (IWW).

so your perception of IWW is in the minority as everyone loved that album and hailed it a classic.

same for the fix. it was hailed an instant classic.

Are you an alias?

You wanna rationally discuss Krs' work in 00's? Because I can do that too. I supported all those off brand albums.
